I started my blog after Eli was diagnosed, so most of my readers don't know how we did end up with four kids--three with autism, and the scope of our journey isn't easy to sum up in a few words. Also, the further we get down the road, I find looking back rather comforting. I like to remind myself of how far we've come. Especially when one of the little ones is going through a difficult time. It helps me to remember how Eli used to be, and to remind myself that progress is possible.
Therefore, I am going to share our autism journey in its entirety. I'm developing a page for each of our kids, so that readers can learn about some of the early signs I missed, and hopefully, our experience can give parents of newly diagnosed kids some hope. Progress does happen. It does get better.
I have started Eli's page, and I'll be updating it regularly. I'll let you know when I make updates, because it's going to take me more than a day to do this. I hope our story will help someone.

I only have the one, but I blogged our journey in "The Road Less Travelled" posts.
I think it is a good idea to put it all down, and if it only helps one person then that is enough.
I am certain your story will hope someone! I can't wait to read :)
Heading over now...
What a great idea!
Awesome idea!
I look forward to reading about all of your cutie patooties!
Love this idea!
Awesome, can't wait to read them!
I only have one...but that's because I'm old and tired.
You must have a lot of energy.
Just read your blog on Eli. I read an article not long ago about higher cases of ASD with children born in winter months, have bad cases of jaundice, born to older parents (both mother and father) and not being a first born. It was a very insightful article. They were going to keep doing studies concerning these connections. I realize that Eli wasn't all of those, but my son sure was. Dec 30th born, after 2 days born and home, went back into hospital for 4 days with SEVERE jaundice (came close to losing him), both parents almost 42 when he was born, my 2nd child. My husband and I each had a daughter from a previous marriage (almost 12 and 13 when son was born). I'll try and find the article for you. So good. Wonder if any of your other blogging friends have these connections?

Looking forward to reading about the journey you and your family are taking. For professionals, we learn so much from a parent's insights. Your efforts are greatly appreciated!
